Tonga Weather
The islands of Tonga experience a beautiful tropical climate, with warm dry winters (peak season) and hot humid summers. The weather loop is produced by Fiji's meteorological office in Nadi shows the whole region's current weather influences. Fiji is west of Tonga and one of the Kingdom's closest neighbours.
Temperature ranges are moderate, both annually and daily. The cooler time of the year falls around May to September or October, giving some relief to the hotter more humid months around December to March. April to November, plus Christmas/New Year, is the high tourist season.
Rainfall falls mainly in the summer months of November to March. This period is also the time of year when cyclones can occur.
